Sono nato a Benevento nel 1976 ed è da quando decido da solo cosa mi piace che mi dedico ai Beni Culturali e alla Fotografia. Strana la vita: ho studiato archeologia ed ho lavorato tra scavi e depositi archeologici per circa 15 anni; nel frattempo scattavo foto da autodidatta e mai mi ha sfiorato l’idea di renderla una professione. Nonostante ciò, ora mi sento più a mio agio dietro una macchina fotografica ed è qui che mi sembra di essere più capace di leggere le stratificazioni del mondo.

I was born in Benevento, Italy, in 1976. Ever since I realized my vocation, I decided to dedicate myself to cultural heritage and photography. Life is strange that way: I studied and worked in archaeological excavations and archives for nearly 15 years; at the same time I was taking photographs, self-taught, and it never occurred to me that I could have a career in photography. Rather than committing myself to a digging field, I now find that behind a camera I feel more able to read this world’s stratification.
